The Little Growers Club at Streatham Common Community Garden offers young people aged 6 to 9 the chance to grow and cook their own healthy food. Each Little Grower is given their own plot to look after between spring and autumn – they’ll be provided with seeds and tools, as well as lots of help and guidance from the SCCG team.
We prioritise local families who don’t have a garden or large growing space at home. Those who are invited to join the Little Growers Club will be able to come to the garden every Sunday between April and the end of October (or as many Sundays as you are available). Sessions last for an hour and run from 11:30pm to 12:30pm on Sundays unless otherwise stated.
