Visitor Info

Opening hours

We are currently closed to visitors and volunteers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are usually open Sundays and Wednesdays from 11am-3pm.

You are welcome to come for a visit at any time when we are open again.

Directions

Streatham Common Community Garden is located in the Rookery on Streatham Common.

You will find us through a black wooden gate at the bottom of the walled Rookery public garden, at the end of Streatham Common South.

An alternative step-free way to the Garden is down Covington Way. There is a gate into the Rookery walled garden about 200m down Covington Way from Streatham Common South. Walk straight through and the Community Garden is the second door on the right hand wall as you walk in.

The nearest train stations are: Streatham, Streatham Common and Norbury.

Bus routes: buses 109, 133, 250, 255 stop at the bottom of the Common – about 15 minutes walk from the garden.

The 249 from Streatham Station stops at The Rookery – about 5 minutes walk from the garden.
