We are looking for a Community Gardener to run two of our well-loved projects, the Learner Plotters’ and the Little Growers’ projects. The Learner Plotters’ project gives beginner gardeners the chance to learn growing skills by managing their own small plot. Little Growers is for 6 to 9-year-olds, who come to the garden for an hour each Sunday with their adult companion.
This will be a part time opportunity, 7 hours per week, at £23 per hour on a self-employed basis. The contract will run from February 2026 to 30th November 2026.
You will be onsite at the garden, each Sunday, from 10.30am to 3.15pm. Plus, there is administration and preparation time, which you can do other days to suit you. Total hours will be 7 per week.
We are based at Streatham Common Community Garden, The Rookery, Streatham Common South, Streatham SW16 3BZ.
